Buzzy joined Thompson Davis & Co. in 2006 as Partner and Senior Vice President.

He started his career in the brokerage business with Wheat First Securities in Richmond and has more than 36 years of experience as a stockbroker.

Born and raised in Richmond, Buzzy has a bachelor’s degree from the Virginia Military Institute and is actively involved in several organizations, including the American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and World Pediatric Project. He is married to the former Ellen Tafel from Louisville, Kentucky, and has two daughters, Sarah Brucke and Blair.
