Spencer joined Thompson Davis & Co. in 2015 in the operations department.

His financial services career began in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he was a management trainee with Central Fidelity Bank. From there, Spencer continued in the banking industry for almost 20 years with Wachovia, Carolina First, First Citizens Bank, and SunTrust Bank, serving as bank manager, commercial loan officer, and mortgage officer. In 2005 he joined Edmunds White Partners as vice president.

Spencer earned a B.A. in managerial economics from Hampden Sydney College. He lives in Richmond’s West End with his wife and their three daughters.
